My husband is also a veteran and was told by VA doc that surgery would not help and that he should enjoy sex while he still could,,,,,,He became even more depressed after this visit with the VA urologist,I asked our NON-VA  family physician to please refer him to an outside urologist because inthe 3 years that he has been using the vitamin E theraphy he has seen NO improvement only continual worsening. Now he can no longer enjoy ANY type of sexual relationship.Thankfully our NON-VA primary physician was very compassionate and concerned and has arranged a referral to a urologist that has some experience with this problem,I will do my best to let you know what I find out and wish you gods speed and the best of luck   DONT give up   GET an OUTSIDE DOC that will respect your concerns and try to help you.

I had the peyronie's disease for about a year. Tried everything. The vit. E pills and shots. No Help. I finally went for the surgery and had to have a pump put in. The pump works but let me tell you this. You could lose about 2 to 3 inches in length because of all the scare tissue that you will have after the surgery. So, unless you are a man with a large penis you will be very disappointed as I am. I Lost almost 3 inches in length.

God Bless and Good luck.
