I have the same issue, except mine hasn't curved too much.  I noticed this about a year and a half ago.  It felt like a small pellet that felt rounded, so I thought at first it may be part of a kidney stone that had not come out.  I thought ok, it's eventually got to come out.  It never did.  The pellet got a little bigger, but not enough to notice unless I use my fingers to actually feel it.  I went to a urologist who told me to take a couple pain pills before my appointment and he stuck some type of tool/utencil through the opening of my penis.  I didn't watch as I didn't think I could handle it by watching him do it.  I did have some bleeding for a day or two when urinating, but other then that fine.  He told me that I had peyronie disease and that the scar tissue was blocking the blood from getting fully erect and can cause curvature and some even lose length due to this.  During an erection the blood seems to go up to the scar tissue and around it.  When it does this it looks like my penis is normal except the middle portion that looks like a rubber band is tight around it.  It looks a little funny, but I can live with it.  I just hate the other things that go with it.  I sometimes take much longer to ejaculate then before and same with urinating.  I actually have to think when I urinate as I start to urinate and then it backs off and then I start again and this cycle continues about 5 minutes until I actually urinate.  I still feel as though I haven't quite finished.
My urologist told me to take flomax, but that would affect my sexual activity, so I didn't take it.  He then recommended vitamin E.  He said it could heal out of the blue one day or I may have it forever.  It hasn't gotten any worse, so I'm thankful for that. I know I will never do the surgery unless it becomes less drastic.   I don't understand where this came from or how I got it.  My urologist thinks it may have been damage to my penis during intercourse.  Go figure.
