I'm 32-years-old and have plaque and penile curvature (somewhere about 40 degrees upward from where the plaque is when fully erect). I have read a study (Urology Times, April 2008) that claimed traction devices were effective in straightening curvature and may be a viable treatment option. My erections aren't painful (they were when the plaque first showed up). I have no difficulties in having an erection. The plaque first appeared about four months ago.
The reason why I found traction interesting is because I already take prescriptions for depression/anxiety and seasonal allergies. I don't want to add a new prescription unless it's absolutely necessary. I currently take an additional 400 IU of vitamin E along with my daily multivitamin.
Is there any further credence regarding the effectiveness of these devices or are they a waste of money (and possibly dangerous)?
